In order to ensure access to all datasets produced within the European Union, the European Union has put in place a coherent regulatory framework. Two sets of norms apply to the opening of FPS Finance data and particularly the General Administration of Patrimonial Documentation data: the INSPIRE directive and the PSI directive. The former is aimed in particular at spatial datasets, while the latter concerns more types of data. They both aim to establish standards for the distribution of data and to establish the conditions for the use of datasets.
