How does it work?


Registration in a few steps

1. Click on the following link:

 log in

 2. Choose a means of identification and then click on “log in in the name of a company".
3. Click on search an entity and then click on  the enterprise number, which will appear in blue at the bottom of the page.
4. You have reached the UBO file of the entity. Go on control structure and click on "Edit” at the bottom of the page.

Registration of a natural person:    
In the column “Action”, click on and fill in the data of the beneficial owner. 

Registration of an intermediate entity:
In the column “Action”, click on  
and fill in the data of the intermediate entity.
5. Link the UBO register with the Belgian Official Journal or add one or more supporting documents demonstrating that the registered information is adequate, accurate and current.
6. Confirm this information every year via the button annual confirmation.

What happens if there is no registration?

The legal representatives have 30 days to register after the creation of the entity. After this deadline:

1st letter : 
The legal representative will receive a reminder letter at home:Notification concernant l’obligation d’enregistrement des bénéficiaires effectifs avant l’imposition d’une amende administrative”.

2nd letter : 

A fine of 500 Euro will be imposed jointly and severally on the legal representatives if the UBOs are not registered in the UBO Register after notification of the first letter.
